Day 1

Naples

Arrival in Naples. Arrival, meeting at the airport by the driver, transfer to the hotel, check-in.

Sorrento

The choice of hotels in this region is not so big, since there are practically no good and high-quality hotels here. Mostly small boutique options that previously were private villas.

Day 3

Capri

During your trip to Sorrento you can visit the island of Capri. There is a ferry that leaves to the island every hour directly from the port in the city, the journey takes about 20 minutes one way.

Capri is the only island in the Gulf of Naples that is not of volcanic origin, but is formed by a huge limestone rock, which gave Capri its present relief.

There are several options for the origin of the name of the island: the first version is from lat. Caprae – goat island, the second version from the Greek. Caprios – a wild pig (the facts of the colonization of the island by the ancient Greeks are confirmed by excavations). The area of the island is about 10 km2.

It is not surprising that this corner of southern Italy won the hearts of sophisticated connoisseurs of beauty: Edvard Grieg, Greta Garbo, Sophia Loren, Tennessee Williams. During the walk you will visit the sun-drenched Villa Cimbrone. Take a stroll through its huge park – a favorite vacation spot for English lords. Take a look at the famous Villa Rufolo, whose gardens and flower beds inspired Richard Wagner to create the opera Parsifal.

Day 4

Amalfi

Amalfi – according to legend, that was the name of the beautiful nymph, whom Hercules loved. Here the beautiful maiden was buried. And if we take much more prosaic sources, namely, historical chronicles, already in the 9th century Amalfi became nothing less than the first Italian Maritime Republic, ruled by the doges. Until the 11th century, the republic only increased its power and had such a power throughout the Mediterranean that later Genoa or Pisa could only be proud of.

Externally, Amalfi looks like a fabulous city – the sea, rocks, lush Italian vegetation; a city where every stone under your feet breathes history. This beauty is breathtaking. It seems that this is a fairy tale within a fairy tale – Amalfi is like a large pearl in a necklace of the same beautiful cities in the province of Salerno.

Day 5

Sorrento

Archaeologists testify that people lived in these places in the Stone Age. The Phoenicians built a port here through which the Greeks traded with the Romans. They gave this area a name – “Sireon”, which means “land of sirens” – women with fish tails, luring sailors into the underwater world with their beauty.

Then you will go on lunch in Naples and you will be driven to the airport.
