In the palace of Umberto II, the exiled in the 1960s King of Italy, the Royal Suite retains antique furniture and a sense of palatial elegance. The terrace from the bedroom creates ideal conditions for watching the sunrise.

A farm, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, is located close to the antient town-fortress Monsaraz in Alentejo. Impressive interiors were made by designers Anachori Almeida. They bind together a mix of ancient manuscripts, old photos, found antique furniture for restoration and ordered soft-blue and green carpets for bedrooms.

Interiors, inspired by the island’s cultural heritage, and it’s rich landscape, include five restaurants, an extensive spa, and several swimming pools.
