The IKOS spa center has seven separate procedural offices and an extensive menu that offers all types of procedures from Anne Semonin, from therapy after tanning to rejuvenating facial care procedures.

Ikos Oceania is famous for its high quality kitchen. Their four restaurants with menu service and a restaurant of Mediterranean cuisine with a Swedish table will satisfy a variety of tastes. The menu consists of Michelin cooks, in each of them there is a children’s menu and baby food on request.

Sani Resort is located in a bay on the rocky peninsula of Kassandra. The resort is an amazing base to explore the coast of Halkidiki from.

Sani Resort boasts a whopping 18 restaurants across four hotels and the marina, including the only caviar restaurant in Greece, although half-board guests are limited to those in their hotel.

The hotel, opened in 1963, is located on its own peninsula and blends seamlessly into the wooded area. Entry through a private barrier sets an exclusive tone: winding paths lead past low-rise clusters of white buildings, some with living roofs, surrounded by mature gardens, and winding paths down to private beaches.

The style is classic: dark marble, heavy wood furniture and brightly colored Murano glass chandeliers, sunflowers in vases and colorful artwork. The pebbly beaches on the east side are much quieter and the water is crystal clear, but the facilities aren’t as good and the sun loungers are tatty. The popular sand-strewn Grand Beach, with restaurants, a marina bar and water sports, is also open to the public, who pay for entry in the summer when it can be crowded.

Thalaspa Chenot is the signature feature of the resort, with a couple of treatment rooms and a steam room, but no indoor pool. The well-equipped gym with long glass windows offers panoramic sea views – a great workout boost. Other facilities include a business center with computers and a printer, several stores (clothing and jewelry), several tennis and basketball courts, and a futsal field.

Breakfast is served in the main restaurant, Aphrodite, a spacious, bright room overlooking the sea in the distance. The choice is large: hot dishes (various sausages, eggs, beans, potatoes and vegetables), a good selection of cheese, ham, yoghurts, dried fruits and fresh fruits, as well as healthy Greek dishes. Ouzeri is the resort’s charming traditional Greek tavern serving meze and fresh fish. It is next to the peninsula’s tiny fishing port.

The architecture reflects the traditions of Messenia: low-rise buildings built from local stone and wood, with only local plants growing in the gardens. The resort also has eco-friendly certifications, including rainwater tanks, and special arrangements for sea turtles that come to lay their eggs on the beach. The resort area is so scattered that it seems like a real seaside town; there is even a small commercial center with shops along the streets, from a pharmacy and a fashion boutique to a cafe and a deli.

The main advantage of the Westin lies in the amenities. With a golf course, a spa specializing in olive oil treatments, two swimming pools, an aqua park with three water slides, a bowling alley, a basketball court, bike tours, a surf school. Even the standard rooms have a balcony with a sofa, table and chairs. All but the most expensive suites have identical queen-size beds. Ground floor suites are more spacious with dressing rooms, living room, patio and private pool. The standard bathrooms are large and open planned.

With eleven restaurants and seven bars, you just cannot stay hungry. The surprise here is the quality. Sushi is prepared by Japanese chefs at Inbi, fresh seafood at Barbouni, burgers at American Diner, first-class Italian pizza at da Luigi’s – every meal is memorable. Morias Buffet Restaurant serves breakfast, a huge selection of different coffees and teas, muesli and fruit juices, cakes, jams and omelettes prepared in different ways with ham, cheese and more.

Vouliagmeni has been Athens’ most popular seaside suburb since Astir Palace opened in the 1960s. This legendary resort, where Onassis, Bardo and Sinatra once rested, is located on a pine-covered peninsula about half an hour from Athens International Airport. It’s hard to choose a favorite among eight restaurants and bars: freshly caught fish is perfectly grilled at Pelagos; juicy burrata and carbonara in laid-back Mercato; new wave ceviche served by the pool at Helios; or fried lamb chops, calamari with aioli sauce and zucchini fritters with mint and lemon thyme at Tavern 37 at the waterfront?

The hotel pays tribute to Greek design. Rooms in scattered low-rise buildings are connected by paths lined with fragrant herbs and plants, and the large, spacious lobby offers stunning views. The resort has 19 bars and restaurants, ranging from poolside bars and a simple souvlacheri counter to an upmarket restaurant serving international cuisine. Nargile, a Lebanese shisha and belly dancing restaurant, is a treat, while Barbouni on the beach is the perfect spot for a fresh-caught fish lunch.  

The breakfast buffet is huge and is there are a trained hawk to scare away small birds. The Anax Lounge serves cocktails and sweet Greek wine. This is a great place to watch the sunset.

Succulents scattered all around, angular furniture add a chic modern vibe, while the use of marble in well-chosen places makes the details opulent. From the bedrooms to the reception, living room and bar/restaurant next to the infinity pool, the white stone interiors evoke a sense of coolness and serenity from the scorching sun, and the design reminds a cave or even a Church.

The staff here are wonderful and will constantly go above and beyond to make your stay a memorable one. The rooms and suites continue the gray and white theme, but with purple flecks on scattered pillows and bedspreads. Art by Yorgos Kordakis: His black-and-white photographs of the island, taken especially for the hotel, create a wonderful sense of the place. Bathrooms have rain showers, bathrobes, flip flops, a wide range of hair products (hair dryers with multiple attachments, as well as straighteners) and Apivita products.

Jean-Charles Metaillet is the consulting chef in a small but beautifully decorated restaurant. Main dishes include shrimp from Symi Island, crispy, salty and garnished with jelly-like cubes of coconut milk. Lobster accompanied by herb ravioli, all dipped in a cloud-like foam of thyme and drizzled with caramelized peanut sauce, and meat turbot with squid ink sauce and a sweet and sour balance of beetroot mousse and silver onion. Some of these dishes are also available from the menu. The wine pairings feature Greek varieties and offer a great way to sample some of the best options from the island itself.

Breakfast here is a real highlight, with a different daily themed menu delivered to your room the night before. Five individual courses are served along with a basket of Greek pastries and a selection of homemade jams, the freshest orange juice, good coffee and complimentary champagne; the overall effect really sings “boutique” and is delicious.

The family-run hotel boasts a unique style that combines modern luxury with Myconian architecture, as well as a display of some 2,000 antiques. All rooms have been designed by the family members who run the hotel. Each room is completely unique and includes various elements such as marble top tables, upholstered chairs, Baccarat chandeliers, Murano lighting, bespoke artwork and of course unique antiques.

The grounds are like a charming Mykonian village, with intricate marble and stone mosaic walkways with hanging bougainvilleas, bright purple doors, pastel-colored shutters, and colorful artwork or ceramics that make an impression against the whitewashed buildings.

The hotel has two outdoor pools, a swim-up bar and a restaurant. At the foot of the hotel is a small private beach overlooking the bay. The Exclusively Spa on site offers a full range of massages and beauty treatments, as well as scheduled yoga classes. There is also an art gallery featuring Greek and foreign artists. Guests can also enjoy candlelit dinners on the private jetty.

The hotel has 43 rooms, each with a queen-size bed with a Candia Strom or Coco-mat mattress, a Mitaca espresso machine, bathrobes, slippers and Bulgari toiletries. Our standard garden view rooms have shower only.

Restaurant Le Pirate and La Meduse serve Mediterranean cuisine. Restaurant Nero offers the best and most picturesque private dining on the island, including on board the hotel’s yacht, on the beach, or in the romantically lit private dock that juts out into Ornos Bay. Gourmet dishes include warm crayfish carpaccio with lemongrass risotto and veal fillet with sassifi and mushrooms. Guests can choose from a premium wine and champagne list.

The rich breakfast buffet includes eggs, meats, pastries and fresh bread. There are also Greek products such as fresh cheese, homemade jams and savory pies.

The spacious Grecotel Mykonos Blu Resort is just steps away from its own private corner of the sandy beach of Psarou in Mykonos.

The hotel has 103 whitewashed stone bungalows and suites. Some rooms have a private pool, and all of them reminds of traditional Cycladic cave-style architecture, decorated in a light mix of white and blue. Junior Bungalow Suites feature a round bathtub and a separate waterfall shower. The standard bathrooms are equipped with separate glass-walled showers. The bath amenities are owned by the exclusive Cretan luxury hair and body brand Grecotel Eau de Grece.

The Brasserie L’Archipel serves meals by the pool. Poets of the Aegean Restaurant serves a Greek and Mediterranean seafood à la carte lunch and dinner menu. The ingredients come from the Grecotel Agreco organic farm. The hotel bar is known for its creative cocktails inspired by the colors of the Aegean Sea.
