Arrival in Rio de Janeiro. Transfer to the hotel. If you arrived before dark, then already on the way from the airport you will see green hills, rocky mountains, palm trees on both sides of the road and beautiful bays. At nightfall, the city is surrounded by a shimmering necklace – these are the lights of the favelas! And a serene rest between palm trees, sand and waves of the ocean. The famous Copacabana and Ipanema, lined with black and white tiles and with cozy cafes open until late at night, where you can quench your thirst with cold coconut water! All of this – just in front of you, because you are in Rio de Janeiro – one of the most beautiful and exotic cities in the world!
Breakfast. Meeting in the hotel lobby with a guide. Excursion to Corcovado mountain to the statue of Christ (4 hours) with a russian-speaking guide. Arrival at the station, from where we set off through the jungle to the top of the Corcovado hill on a special, open, environmentally friendly train. Both sides of the road offer breathtaking views of the Tijuca Forest. At the top of the Corcovado hill, at an altitude of 710 m above sea level, rises the symbol of Rio – the statue of Christ the Redeemer (38 m), which was erected in 1931. From the observation deck, opens a breathtaking panorama of the metropolis and its environs: the bridge in Niteroi, Guanabara Bay, the Botanical Garden, the world’s largest Maracana stadium, Sugar Loaf and much more.
We advise you to have a good rest and prepare for the New Year celebration. In the evening you will have an unforgettable holiday on Copacabana beach! New Year in Rio is a grand event not only for tourists, but also for local residents. People come from everywhere to see the world-famous fireworks! It is launched on the beach of Copacabana from platforms located directly in the water. Residents of Brazil celebrate the New Year in white clothes. Believers pay tribute to the water goddess Imanzha. They put their gifts in tiny boats and send them out into the ocean. And all this under the lights of fireworks falling into the water. The sight is truly mesmerizing! Also there are podiums on the beach. It’s installed for the performances of famous artists, which anyone can listen to that night – the concert is free! The fun continues all night long.
City tour and Sugarloaf excursion (4h) with russian-speaking guide. We drive to Praia Vermelha (red beach). Then you will take a special cable car to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain. The first stop will be on Mount Urka, which has a wide observation deck. On the Sugar Loaf mountain is a smaller platform, but it offers a beautiful view of Rio, Copacabana beach, the bay, the surrounding mountains, islands in the ocean, the bridge to the city of Niteroi, the statue of Christ. Then you will go to the central districts of old Rio, where you will admire several ancient churches, monasteries, the main Cathedral of the city, as well as buildings built in the colonial style. *Due to the congestion of the city in connection with the New Year holidays, the route of the city tour may be adjusted.

Tour by the Brazilian side of the waterfalls with an English-speaking guide. The Iguassu Falls, located on the border of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay, are 275 huge water streams falling from a terrible height. The waterfalls are located on the territory of the national park with unique flora and fauna, arose as a result of a volcanic eruption and displacement of earth layers. The name of the waterfalls in translation from Guarani means “big water”. 275 waterfalls, each of which has its own name, crash down into the “Devil’s Throat” Gorge.
The contrast between the calm and even lazy flow of the waters of the Iguassu River and the waterfalls and the powerful overthrow of the seething streams of water from a height of 72 meters into the abyss is amazing. You can stand for hours, without taking your eyes off, contemplating this spectacle and thinking about the splendor and eternity of our universe. Additionally, you can order a visit to the Bird Park (USD 50 P/P). It is located near the Iguassu National Park. You will go into huge enclosures, where amazing, fabulous birds of outlandish colors freely fly or walk among the tropical forest. Additionally, you can book a Macuco Safari trip (USD 130 P/P). You will drive through the jungle in an open jeep for about 3 kilometers, accompanied by a guide who will tell you a lot of interesting things about the ecology of the region. Then you will go on foot to the banks of the Iguassu River, from where you will be taken by motor boat close to the waterfalls. You will get to the Argentinean side of the falls through the Tancredo Neves Bridge, built over the Iguazu River. The Argentinian side is different from the Brazilian side – here you will be directly above and below the waterfalls. You will feel the power of the falling water very close and you will be able to enjoy the natural park around this magnificent beauty! You will see the birth of the Devil’s Throat. The numerous paths and passages created by human hands are amazing, allowing you to observe this natural phenomenon from a very close distance.

Transfer to the airport for departure to Campo Grande. Arrival and transfer to the Pantanal. The Pantanal is located in the center of the South American Continent. This is a unique world conservation area located in Brazil. Wetlands covered with dense flowering vegetation make up the main landscape of the area. Here lakes and rivers with crystal clear waters give shelter to the rarest specimens of birds and animals. Tour by the Brazilian side of the waterfalls with an English speaking guide. We will go on an exciting walk through the forest to the Mimoso River. We will reach 8 waterfalls of different sizes and shapes, with stops to swim under the waterfalls or in natural pools. Underwater journey through the crystal clear waters. We will dive into the water and see amazing underwater flora and fauna even at a distance of 50 m.
Optionally, you can order Abismo Anhumas, which is located 20 km west of Bonito, and looks like a trip to Middle-earth. This is a 72-meter abyss ending in an underground lake where incredible stalactite formations live. The first part of the exercise is descending 5 meters down a narrow gap in the ground. Then the chasm widens and a giant crater opens under your feet: a 72-meter drop leads to a crystal-clear lake where you can go snorkeling. In addition to the amazing feeling of descending into one of the largest underwater caves in Brazil, the attraction is very exclusive: only two groups of eight people descend per day.
Rafting by a mountain river on special inflatable tires! And then another adventure – the Arvorismo – Cabanas zipline, located 6 km from the town of Bonito MS, it’s a track laid 15 meters from the ground, with 18 obstacles and 2 ziplines, the last of which is a water zipline on Rio Formoso. The tour has a safety system with a continuous lifeline and wagon where the visitor is not disconnected at any time during obstacles. In the Cabanas Canopy Tour, the visitor will have the opportunity to enjoy the view of the trees, go through the obstacles and even, if you’re lucky, observe some animals.
In the morning, after breakfast, we will visit the Blue Cave grotto, which makes an indelible impression due to its geological structure and sky-blue water. This cave has attracted the attention of both tourists and explorers from all over the world. The sun’s rays penetrate through the water, creating a spectacular view. The grotto is one of the largest flooded caves in the world. In 1992, an expedition of Brazilian paleontologists discovered the fossilized remains of mammals buried at the bottom of the cave – a prehistoric giant sloth and a saber-toothed tiger.
