Turkish Airlines to introduce a new luxury business class in 2025

The upgraded Crystal Business Class cabins are equipped with sliding doors, beds that can be folded out to a horizontal position, and marble tables.

Starting in 2025, passengers on Turkish Airlines’ long-haul flights will be able to enjoy a new premium service. Crystal Business Class will offer modern facilities: seats that recline into a horizontal bed, sliding doors and innovative technologies that will make Turkish Airlines competitive with Qatar Airways, Air France and Lufthansa, which have already introduced similar improvements.

The new Crystal Business Class cabins will initially appear on refurbished Boeing 777-300ERs starting in 2025, followed by new Airbus A350-1000s arriving in 2026. Free Wi-Fi is also planned for all passengers.

What’s new in Crystal Business Class cabins:

  • 42 podium-style seats arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration, providing direct access to the aisle.
  • “Honey” seats with a folding partition for couples.
  • Seats that convert into a horizontal bed, a 22-inch 4K entertainment screen, noise-canceling headphones, wireless charging, USB-C and universal sockets, adjustable lighting, marble tables, rose gold trim and leather from Turkey.

These innovations will complement Turkish Airlines’ already successful business class. In June, the airline was recognized as the 10th best in business class by Skytrax, and also received the award for the best food thanks to meze fees and the Flying Chef service, where chefs prepare meals in the air together with the crew.

Turkish Airlines also plans to introduce free Wi-Fi on all flights by the end of 2025, which will allow it to compete with other airlines that already offer unlimited internet.

In addition, in June, Turkish Airlines expanded its network of flights to the United States by launching a new route to Denver, which became the airline’s 14th destination in the United States. Turkish Airlines now operates flights to 347 cities in 130 countries.
