The Residence Maldives at Dhigurah 5*

We have travelled all over the world on intrepid and less intrepid trips but the residence tops them all. Everything was perfect- the room, the food, the drink, the activities and my word the staff were simply amazing!! We felt like royalty everywhere we went and the effort put into making us feel special was immense. The food was like fine dining, the staff would make any drink you requested, the room and atmosphere was 5* and more! We went snorkelling every day and saw turtles and a host of beautiful, colourful fish just off the reef. We also went on the dolphin cruise which was amazing- the sky almost outdone the dolphins though- I’ve never seen a sunset like it! Thankyou Residence at Dhigaru for making our stay truly magical.

Thank you The Residence for your kind service and warmth hospitality. We loved the food here, especially at the Dining Room at Dhigurah. The whole team led by Shazly Dinesh Hafiz Sajth were impeccable with their service and we were always greeted with their warm smiles. My daughter looked forward to dining there every time and they always made us feel welcome.

One morning when we had our photo shoot, we almost could not make it to breakfast in time. The front office and dining room teams coordinated and sent a lovely fruit platter, bread basket and orange juice to my room in anticipation that we may have missed breakfast.

It was really a pleasant surprise and such thoughtful service really warmed our hearts and our bellies.
Also a big shout out to all the hardworking buggy drivers, for always ferrying us around the island. with special mention on Milan, he shared much interesting facts about the island and its marine life with us on our rides and always made us feel special with his smiles and warmth.

And last but not least, to the housekeeping team for always patiently waiting to turn down our room and ensure our room is clean and tidy upon our return. Their special touch to decorate our room even though it was the last evening in the villa made it especially special for us.

We sincerely thank the entire residence team for making our holiday very memorable and to any travelling families with young children coming to the maldives. Look no further. The memories and beauty of the people and this amazing island resort will stay with you for a lifetime! ❤️

Amazing! Stunning resort, exceeded our expectations. The staff are fantastic, they can’t do enough and give a superb personal service. The food is 5 star, with lots of restaurants to choose from including fine dining, included in our all inclusive package. We got married here and it truly was super special, due to the amazing setting and staff. Highly recommend… we are coming back for anniversary next year.
