Day 1

Arrival in Vietnam — Hanoi

Arrival at Hanoi International Airport. Private transfer and check-in at the iconic 5-star Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi. A relaxing evening to unwind after your flight, stroll through the charming capital streets, and enjoy your first introduction to the city.

Day 2

Capital Charm & Ethnic Tribes — Mai Châu

Scenic drive through mountain passes to the Mai Châu valley (~4.5 hours). Check-in at Mai Châu Ecolodge and enjoy an organic lunch featuring local Muong and Thai cuisine.

Walk through the traditional villages of Pom Coong and Lac, and explore Mo Luong Cave. In the evening, savor local delicacies accompanied by an authentic ethnic music and dance performance.

Day 3

Tea Plantations & Rural Terraces — Mộc Châu & Nghĩa Lộ

Morning tour through the peaceful valley surrounded by lush rice fields. Scenic drive to Mộc Châu plateau with stops at traditional Hmong and Thai minority villages. Arrive in Muong Lo (Nghĩa Lộ region), home to the White and Black Thai ethnic groups. Check-in at the cozy boutique hotel Mường Lò Retreat.

Day 4

Majestic Rice Terraces of Mù Cang Chải

Explore the famous Tú Lệ rice terraces and cross suspension bridges to hidden ethnic villages. Drive across the breathtaking Khau Pha Pass — one of Vietnam’s most iconic mountain drives. Visit scenic viewpoints and the world-famous La Pan Tan rice terraces, followed by a warm visit to a local Hmong family. Arrive in Mù Cang Chải and check-in at the luxury Garrya Mu Cang Chai retreat.

Day 5

Scenic Mountain Drive back to Hanoi

Breakfast surrounded by misty mountain peaks. Embark on a long yet stunning drive back to Hanoi (~7 hours with lunch and rest stops along the way). Return and check-in at Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi 5*. Free evening to relax or enjoy a soothing spa treatment at the hotel.

Day 6

“Ha Long on Land” & Underground Caves of Ninh Binh

Morning transfer to Ninh Binh province, famous for its dramatic karst landscape. Visit the Bái Đính spiritual complex — the largest temple complex in Vietnam featuring a giant bronze Buddha statue and 500 Arhat statues.

Enjoy a sampan boat cruise through the UNESCO-listed Tràng An complex, gliding through 50 underground caves and clear lakes framed by towering cliffs. Return to Hanoi in the evening.

Day 7

Homeward Journey

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy leisure time exploring Hanoi’s historic Old Quarter, shopping for authentic handicrafts, Vietnamese silk, and premium coffee. Private transfer to Nội Bài International Airport (HAN) for your departure flight.
