This day is dedicated to immersing yourself in the culture and architectural splendor of Oman’s capital.
After a morning meeting in the hotel lobby, the tour begins with one of the country’s most impressive landmarks, the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, with its striking domes, exquisite marble halls, and one of the world’s largest handmade Persian carpets.
Next, visit the Royal Opera House, a true masterpiece of contemporary Eastern design, combining the elegance of Arab tradition with modern aesthetics.
The route then leads to the ancient Matrah market, where the air is filled with the aromas of spices, incense, and oriental fabrics. Here you can see the real life of Muscat and, if you wish, purchase fragrant incense or traditional souvenirs.
The walk continues along the walls of Fort Matrah, towering above the coastline and offering picturesque views of the bay. The day ends with a stop at a square offering panoramic views of Al Alam Palace, the sultan’s residence, surrounded by the majestic Portuguese forts of Jalali and Mirani.

In the morning, the journey into the heart of Oman begins, taking you to ancient cities and mountain panoramas.
The first stop is Nizwa, the former capital of the sultanate and one of the country’s main cultural centers. Here you will visit the traditional market, which is bustling with life in the mornings: craftsmen sell silver jewelry, spices, ceramics, and fabrics. You will also see the impressive Nizwa Fort, famous for its massive round tower and views of the old town and palm oases.
After lunch at a local restaurant serving national cuisine, the tour continues to the village of Al Hamra, where time seems to have stood still. Narrow streets, mud-brick houses, and the ancient sheikh’s house offer a glimpse into authentic Omani traditions and life in centuries past.
Next, climb the Jebel Shams mountains, the “Mountain of the Sun,” the highest point in Oman. The Jebel Shams observation deck offers an impressive view of the Grand Canyon of Arabia, one of the most picturesque places in the country.
The day ends with sunset in the mountains, when the rocks are painted in shades of golden pink and the air is filled with coolness. After that, there is an evening transfer and accommodation at the Anantara Jebel Akhdar Hotel, one of the most luxurious mountain resorts in the Middle East.
The morning will begin with a walk through the picturesque Jebel Akhdar plateau, famous for its terraced gardens, rose plantations, and views of deep gorges. The fresh mountain air, panoramic views stretching for miles, and morning light will create a special atmosphere of calm and inspiration.
After exploring the surroundings, descend from the mountains and have lunch at a local restaurant, where you can try traditional dishes prepared according to ancient Omani recipes.
Next, the route takes you to one of the most impressive natural areas in the country — the Wahiba Sands desert. As you approach it, the landscape changes: green valleys give way to endless golden dunes shimmering in the sun.
Upon arrival, check into Desert Nights Camp, an elegant camp in the middle of the sands that combines comfort and the spirit of adventure.
In the afternoon, you will enjoy an off-road safari through the dunes, where you can feel the power and energy of the desert, followed by an unforgettable sunset as the sun slowly sinks behind the sandy ridges, painting the horizon in copper-orange tones.

The morning begins with a visit to a Bedouin house, where you can chat with locals, learn about ancient desert customs, and try authentic Omani coffee with dates — a symbol of hospitality.
Next, you will travel to one of the most picturesque corners of the country, the Wadi Shab oasis. Here, among sheer cliffs and emerald waters, a trail leads to a cascade of natural pools. A walk through the gorge and a swim in the pristine waters of the wadi will be a real treat after the road trip.
After lunch at a local restaurant, the route continues to the mysterious karst lake Bimmah Sinkhole, formed as a result of the collapse of limestone rock. The blue water and unusual landscape make this place one of the most photogenic in the region.
