The hotel is located on the beach, the Caribbean Ocean is only 25 meters away. It’s located at the quiet end of Tulum’s coastal road, next to the protected Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve. It is a 25 minutes drive from the center of Tulum, although you will probably spend more time in the little boutiques, bars and restaurants on the seafront, just a three minutes bike ride or a one minute drive.

Azulik is a bit away from route 15 next to some of the most glamorous hotels and beach clubs, just a 10 minute drive from Tulum’s downtown. The city has been modernized over the past few years and the main street is now full of great restaurants and popular bars. The city is still filled with bohemian charm, but with an ability to escape to Azulica’s white sandy beach is a real bonus.

The cocktail list offers very “Tulum” creations such as Stay Present (mezcal, blackberry and lime, with rosemary and lavender oil for “mind refocusing”), as well as classics, but the cocktails are few.

The hotel is located near the quieter south end of Cancun’s hotel zone, about a 10-minute bus ride from top shopping malls such as La Isla Shopping Village and Plaza Kukulcan. Busy Punta Cancun area, home to most of Cancun’s nightlife, is about 15 minutes’ drive away.
