Around 30 ski resorts are scattered throughout South Tyrol, most of which belong to either the Dolomiti Superski association, the world’s largest ski run, or the Ortler Skiarena with their family ski resorts located in the west of the province.
The Dolomites Superski area, which stretches across many Italian provinces, allows holidaymakers to ski a total of 1,200 km in the picturesque Dolomites, all with one ski pass.
The varied landscape of South Tyrol is perfect for a winter holiday: for downhill skiing in the Dolomites and in the Ortler region, for easy winter hikes and interesting excursions. Exciting winter activities await you in the most diverse corners of the region: from downhill and cross-country skiing and ski hiking to snow kiting and ice climbing.
