Upon arrival in Bogotá, you will be met at the airport and transferred privately to Novotel Bogota Parque 93.
After check-in, your introduction to the Colombian capital begins. Explore the historic La Candelaria district, stroll among its colonial architecture, and visit Casa de la Moneda and the Botero Museum. Continue to Plaza de Bolívar, Bogotá’s main square, home to the cathedral and some of the city’s most important government buildings.
If timing allows, you may witness the changing of the guard at the Presidential Palace. The day concludes with an ascent to Monserrate, offering panoramic views over Bogotá and the surrounding Andes.
The program includes admission to the Gold Museum, Casa de la Moneda and the Botero Collection, as well as guide services and private transfers.
The Gold Museum is closed on Mondays, while Casa de la Moneda and the Botero Museum are closed on Tuesdays.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Pereira, in the heart of Colombia’s coffee region.
Upon arrival, you will head to Cocora Valley, surrounded by the spectacular landscapes of Los Nevados National Natural Park. This is where Colombia’s iconic wax palms grow — the country’s national tree and the tallest palm species in the world.
After exploring the valley, you can stop for lunch or try your hand as a barista at Jesús Martín café. The journey then continues to Salento, a charming town known for its colorful façades, traditional architecture and atmospheric streets.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Cartagena. Upon arrival, you will be met and privately transferred to Casa Canabal Hotel Boutique.
After check-in, your introduction to one of Colombia’s most colorful cities begins. Stroll through Cartagena’s historic quarters, filled with colonial mansions and vibrant streets, explore the modern Bocagrande district, and discover the famous Old Town surrounded by centuries-old city walls.
The journey continues to La Popa Hill, offering panoramic views over Cartagena and its harbor. You will see the Santa Cruz Monastery, the impressive San Felipe de Barajas Fortress, historic Plaza de la Aduana, and the San Diego district, home to the iconic Santa Clara, housed in a former convent.
After exploring Cartagena, you will return to the hotel.
After breakfast, you will have some free time to enjoy Cartagena and explore the city at your own pace.
At the scheduled time, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to San Andrés Island, a Caribbean destination known for its white-sand beaches and crystal-clear waters in spectacular shades of turquoise.
Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to Decameron Isleño for your All Inclusive stay.
A few days to unwind on San Andrés Island, surrounded by white-sand beaches, tropical landscapes and the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. Time to slow down, enjoy the sea and relax at your own pace.
Upon arrival in Medellín, you will be met at the airport and transferred to Hotel Du Parc.
Your introduction to the city known as the “City of Eternal Spring” then begins. Explore its historic neighborhoods, old churches and elegant mansions, as well as one of its notable architectural landmarks — the Metropolitan Cathedral.
The program includes the Museum of Antioquia and Plaza Botero, home to a collection of sculptures by Medellín-born artist Fernando Botero. You will then visit the famous Comuna 13, a neighborhood that has undergone a remarkable transformation and is now known for its street art, music and vibrant urban culture.
The day concludes with a visit to the Castle Museum, featuring a collection of decorative arts and historic interiors.
This day will be dedicated to the legend of El Dorado and the places associated with it.
From Bogotá, you will travel to Guatavita, set high in the Andes. After exploring the small town, the journey continues to the famous Lake Guatavita, considered one of the key places associated with the origins of the legend of El Dorado and its lost gold.
After the excursion and lunch, you will continue to Zipaquirá to visit the famous Salt Cathedral, an extraordinary underground sanctuary created within former salt mines.
The full day, including transfers, will take approximately 9 hours. Comfortable shoes and warm clothing are recommended for the visit to the lake.
Lake Guatavita is closed on Mondays. Lunch is not included in the program price.
